Kickstarter Campaign
In order to raise funds for this indie-short we ran a month long campaign using the fundraising website Kickstarter. I spearheaded the campaign, writing the copy for the Kickstarter page and an coordinating the extensive social media outreach on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
We also offered exciting rewards for donors to the campaign, giving them the oppurtunity to become an executive producer of the film and even have themselves “hipsterized” by our poster artist.
It was a comprehensive campaign that frequently interacted with users, pushed out assets from the film (like the poster, a promotional video and behind the scenes content creation) that allowed us to sucessfully raise over $3500 in about four weeks.
